Statement of Faith
The purpose of this congregation shall be to carry out the commission given by Jesus Christ to preach and teach the Word (Law and Gospel) and to administer the Sacraments (Baptism and the Lord’s Supper) according to the commands of Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 16:15-16).

This congregation, a liturgical, conservative lutheran church, accepts without reservation the canonical scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as the verbally inspired and inerrant Word of God, and therefore as the sole and only infallible rule of doctrine and life.

This congregation subscribes to all the confessions of the Lutheran Church contained in the Book of Concord because they are the correct statement of the teachings of Scripture, namely:
1. The three ecumenical creeds: the Apostolic, the Nicene, and the Athanasian
2. The Unaltered Augsburg Confession
3. The Apology of the Augsburg Confession
4. The Smalcald Articles
5. Luther’s Small Catechism
6. Luther’s Large Catechism
7. The Formula of Concord
