You walk down the aisle
and sit in a pew
to envision in what you believe.
The voice of a preacher,
the sermon of the day
give you peace in what you believe.

I walk into the woods
and sit on a stump
to believe in what I see.
the song of a bird,
the rustle of the leaves

Your belief does not make you angelic,
nor does mine make me evil.
Each is still loved the same
