Organist and Choirmaster

Henry G. Fulmer has served as organist and choirmaster at Reformation Lutheran Church since 1985. In addition to his full time job with the University of South Carolina at the South Caroliniana Library, Henry devotes huge amounts of time to music and worship at Reformation. He is an accomplished organist and has developed a volunteer choir with a varied repertoire. He also directs a handbell choir for seasonal events. Henry is organist for special services like the monthly Taize Common Prayer service as well as for funerals and weddings. He also works with the Worship and Music Committee and has developed and produces a user-friendly weekly worship bulletin. Henry oversaw the 1993 tonal revisions and enlargement of Reformation's 1960 Moller pipe organ and is now chairing the tower bells task force.
