Tournament Rules

1. Single elimination format on Saturday. Games will begin Friday night, if necessary. T-shirts will be awarded to the first place team.

2. Games will consist of two 18-minute halves. The clock will be stopped only for violations and free throws during the last minute of the game, unless the lead is 15 points or more; for time outs; when a player is injured; or at the referee's discretion.

3. All teams are guaranteed to play 3 games.

4. Each team is allotted 2 full time outs per game.

5. If overtime is necessary, it's sudden death with the first team to score being declared the winner.

6. Players will foul out on 5 fouls. Bonus will be at the 7th foul of the half. At the 10th foul of the half, 2 free throws are awarded.

7. A jump ball is used to start the game and overtime period.

8. Games will begin at the scheduled time, or with a 3 minute break after the last game - whichever is later.

9. Halftime each game is 2 minutes.

10. Women's basketballs will be used, and warm-up balls will be provided.

11. No full court press is allowed during leads of 15 or more.

12. Scoring and timekeeping will be handled by volunteers. Please respect this fact.

13. Teams must have numbered uniform jerseys. If both teams show up in the same color, one team will be asked to wear pennies.

14. A team may be suspended from further play for unsportsmanlike conduct by its players, coaches, or managers. Fans exhibiting poor conduct will be asked to leave the gym.

15. There will be no locker rooms or shower facilities available at Trinity School.
