Altar decorated for the Planting Season

Members of Zion Lutheran Church placed a sign to mark the field dedicated to their growing project, "Growing so others may grow". Five acres of soybeans are being cultivated and will be harvested through the sponsorship of church members . The proceeds from the harvest will be used to help support sustainable food sources in impoverished countries. The Monsanto Fund and Foods Resource Bank are in partnership with Zion in this growing project.
