Our Friend Edith Heinemeier

Dear friends in Christ, I send this note with a heavy heart because our great friend, Edith Heinemeier, has gone to be with her Father and our Father, her God and our God. She died quietly this morning while Fern Hagedorn was there singing “Now Let the Vault of Heaven Resound” to her. Rolf had gone to a doctor’s appointment and Fern was keeping Edith company. At the same time, I can say with great joy that I know in faith that there is nothing in heaven or earth that could separate her from God’s love for her in Jesus Christ.
A Service of Witness to the Resurrection for Edith Heinemeier will be held at St. Paul’s on Tuesday, May 29th, at 11 AM. Committal will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery with a time of fellowship in St. Paul’s Parish Hall afterwards.
Please keep Rolf, Janet and Jim Syre (their daughter and her husband) and their children, and Tim Morse (their son-in-law) and his children, and the rest of Edith’s family in your prayers.

Katie's Café, St. Paul's monthly free lunch fellowship, will be open on Saturday, June 2nd, 12 noon - 1pm. If you would like to help, please contact the church office.
St. Paul’s is sponsoring a trip to see “Jonah” at the Sight & Sound Theatre in Strasburg, (Lancaster County) PA on Wednesday, August 15th. The tickets are $110 for adults, Teens (12-18) $95, Children (3-12) $75. The price includes bus transportation, a stop at the Bird in Hand Farmers Market where you can buy lunch or eat your own brown-bag lunch, the 1pm show at the theater, and dinner after the show at the Bird in Hand Restaurant. The bus will leave the Narrowsburg Library Parking lot promptly at 7am and will return at 10pm. (There is a possibility for pick-up in Beach Lake and Honesdale.
