Fellowship Fair
The women of St. Paul's will hold its annual FELLOWSHIP FAIR on Saturday, November 21st, 9am-2pm. We need items for the White Elephant table, bakers, and set-up/break-down volunteers. Call the church office if you can lend a hand!
FIRST COMMUNION of Mika Brauser and Sara Clarke will take place SUNDAY, November 22nd, followed by a festive coffee hour! Come and join the celebration!
The Narrowsburg Ecumenical Food Pantry will distribute Thanksgiving Dinner Boxes to needy families. If you can donate a frozen turkey, contact Barbara at 252-3224. In addition, the pantry needs these non-perishables: tomato sauce, pasta, tuna, fruit, fruit juice, peanut butter, jelly, chili, stew, soup, vegetables, cereal, oatmeal, powdered or evaporated milk, and monetary donations. Food can be left at St. Paul's or dropped off during pantry hours (Thursday from 4:30-5:30pm) at St. Francis-Xavier. If you know of someone in need during non-pantry hours, contact Pastor Phyllis.
Hymnal Update: The cost for 50 of our new ELW hymnals has been given back to the Memorial Fund. It's not too late to order your copy or to donate a hymnal in memory or honor of a loved one!
PRAYER LIST
While Jesus valued rituals, he did not see them as the source and summit of religion. Ritual is empty if it is not sourced in relationship. Ritual is alive and relevant when begun in personal and communal prayer. What we gather from God in the time of prayer brings life, joy and relevance to the rituals and the customs of religion. No ritual, not even the Sabbath of the people of Jesus’ time, is to lord it over us(-- from Sacred Space website). Please email your prayer request updates to Pastor Phyllis at stpaulnar@frontiernet.net or call the church office.
