Welcome To Camp Gentle Ben

Camp Gentle Ben is the Peterson family hunting camp, established in xxxx by Benjamin & Hazel Peterson. Ben and Hazel homesteaded on the property - given to them by the state of Michigan. They lived on and farmed the land for many years before relocating to Iron Mountain.
This is the original Peterson homestead. After arriving in Michigan, the neighbors pitched in and helped Ben & Hazel build this home.

Camp Gentle Ben 2004
The original homestead is no longer safe to stay in. In the late 1980's the homestead was abandoned and a new camp was built. This is the new camp as it appears today.
This website is still under construction.
