OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE... |
|
Trinity offers several opportunities to serve. We believe that God calls us ALL to be disciples of Christ. We do this by giving back to God our time, talents and treasures. | |
|
OUTREACH OPPORTUNITIES... |
Trinity has many on-going projects as well as special appeals that gives us the opportunity to come together and help others. The following is a list to name a few of the projects.
...The ladies of the church send items (walker bags, bibs, crocheted shawls and laprobes) to LUTHERAN SOCIAL SERVICES.
...They also send health kits to LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF.
...POP TABS FOR RONALD McDONALD HOUSE. Pop tabs are collected and turned in to raise money towards the upkeep expenses of the Ronald McDonald Houses.
...THE VERSAILLES FOOD PANTRY - we continually collect non-perishable food items as well as give monetary donations to the community food pantry. One of the main sources of support is our yearly Souper Bowl Party in January.
...OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - the past several years Trinity has supported this wonderful program and will continue to do so.
...Each year Trinity is involved with the Versailles Council of Churches "Giving Tree." We receive the names of two local families to help make their Christmas more special. This is an outreach program that touches many lives, the ones giving as much as those receiving!
...A Lutherans for a Cure team participates in the American Cancer Society "Relay for Life" in Darke County. Many opportunities will be available to help with this cause.
...We recently have partnered with ArkAlmighty to further help meet the needs of others. Please click the banner below to learn more about ArkAlmighty!
