We are located in Knife River, Minnesota (pop. 300) on the coast of Lake Superior. The community is noteworthy for its Scandinavian heritage and historic ties to commercial fishing and the railroad. Today it is a popular tourist destination on the North Shore Scenic Drive .

The church has an amazing group of volunteers, keeping it active in the life of the surrounding community and reaching out to homeless area youth, victims of Hurricane Katrina and to the wider world through involvement in world hunger, medical missions and other programs.

Our local ministries include youth activities for all ages, adult study, spiritual growth groups, quilting, yoga, exercise classes, Women of the ELCA and various opportunities for the musically talented including an impressive handbell choir.
