St. Paul International Lutheran Church, Tokyo (SPILC) is an independent English speaking congregation in Tokyo, Japan. Our church is recognized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America [ELCA] and the Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod [LCMS]. It is also recognized by their partner churches in Japan, the Japan Evangelical Lutheran Church [JELC] and the Japan Lutheran Church [NRK]. We welcome new visitors, and old friends; we welcome believers and those still searching. We welcome people of every place and culture, of every background and family expression. We praise and thank God for the diversity of all the human family and our unity in the forgiveness of Christ. Our Mission in Tokyo is:... to bring together people of diverse backgrounds who are deepening and sharing their Christian faith through English language worship, fellowship, education, and community outreach. Our weekly Sunday worship of Holy Communion begins at 9:30am in the 2nd floor chapel of the Tokyo Lutheran Center in Iidabashi, Tokyo. Fellowship time and Education Hour follow in the lounge.
