The purpose of this information is not to pretend that we are better than other churches or to brag. That goes contrary to the Scriptures which show that "all sin and fall short of God's glory." We all need a Savior and to that end, churches should show humility and be wary of conceit. This is an informational website. There are indeed many good options in terms of churches in the community. Immanuel is above all a Christian Church. Historically, there are many branches of the Christian Church, but there is one Church in Jesus Christ, centered in Word and Sacrament. We are a member congregation of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Our history is connected with the movements of immigrants into the United States in the 19th century resulting in the formation of the Lutheran Church- Missouri Synod, named after an initial settlement in the state of Missouri.

The Holy Trinity: God is three persons in one: the Father who created and sustains the world, the Son, who lived as a man, died and rose again from the dead, and the Holy Spirit, who is our comforter and who sustains us in the one true faith.
The Holy Bible is God's infallible Word through which He reveals Himself to us as the God of love and mercy and compassion.
The Ecumenical Creeds, (the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed and the Athanasian Creed) which confess our belief concerning who God is and the work of the Holy Trinity.
