About Our Church

Christ Lutheran Church, named for the Lord and Savior, is located in the village of Highland, Iowa County, Southwest Wisconsin. We are affiliated with the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and are part of the South Wisconsin District. The church was organized in 1895 and the congregation orginally met in Pine Knob, a small country place five miles northeast of Highland. In 1937, the congregation purchased an old Methodist church and moved to the village of Highland. Christ Lutheran Church and St. Peter Lutheran Church of Muscoda, WI, share a pastor and work together in the service of the Lord Jesus.
