Council met on November 15, 2011. Pastors Kriesat and Krombholz, presided.

Topics of Discussion:

Commitment Sunday is November 20th.
Everyone should have received a letter in the mail with a pledge card. Please fill it out, and bring back to Church.
Your complete pledge cards helps the council be able to better plan for the upcoming year.

Pilgrim Journey:
· Turkeys will be collected up to November 20th. They will be delivered on November 21st.
· Hygiene Kits for the Homeless Shelter. We have been asked to assemble the Hygiene kits again. We did such a great job last year. There will be check lists available in the Narthex.

Upcoming Events:
· Advent Midweek Services are November 30, December 7, 14, and 21. They will be held at Faith Lutheran Church at 12:15pm (spoken service) and 7:30pm full service w/choir. Faith is asking for members of Advent to participate in the services as lesson readers and/or Communion Assistants. There is a signup sheet on the bulleting board.
· Christmas Eve Service Will be held at Advent Lutheran Church at 7:30pm
· Christmas Day Service: Will be held at Faith Lutheran Church at 10am

· Gifts of the Season: Tags are still available on the downstairs bulletin board. Please Bring your UNWRAPPED Gift with the tag attached to church by Sunday December 4th. If you have a gift and are unable to deliver it to the Church by 12/4, please deliver it to Fred Stober, 509 Warrenville Rd, Warren no later than December 7th.
o Gift cards are also an idea if you want to participate, but cannot get a tag, them make great gifts for seniors, and teenagers. We ask to please attach a note to the gift card when bringing it in.
