1925 - Organized February 1 by Rev. C.F. Knoll of the Missionary Board of the New York Ministerium. Services were held every Sunday at 3:30 pm at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial or Community HallSt. Luke's Lutheran Church incorporated and identified with the New York Ministerium on April 25th.
The pledge envelope system was installed in the month of May.
The Constitution and Bylaws were adopted June 25th.
Official installation of Pastor Bosch by his father, Rev. Fred Bosch, took place in June.
Official name of the congregation, St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Bay Shore, New York, made by motion and carried August 25th.
Acquired lot at W. Main and Lawrence Lane September 22 at a cost of $10,000.
1926: First confirmation inaugurated by Rev. Bosch on May 23rd.
1927: Rev. Bosch nominated and approved as full-time pastor on September 18; his acceptance by letter December 31.
1930: Parish House dedication April 6th.
1934: Resignation of Rev. Bosch.
