Traditional Service - For those who feel most comfortable with a traditional worship service using the Evangelical Lutheran Book of Worship.

10:30 AM

Contemporary Service - For those who prefer a more contemporary worship service that includes elements of the Lutheran liturgy with added music from our worship and praise band comprised of members of our congregation, "SOUND OF FAITH".

	WORSHIP SERVICES… The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday at all services. Special services are held during Lent at 12:15 PM and 6:30 PM and during Holy Week. Worship is the center of our community. We believe the Holy Spirit calls, gathers and enlightens us to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe the liturgy of worship is truly the work of God's people and therefore many people are involved in the planning and leadership. ACOLYTES ... sixth through ninth graders who assist in worship by lighting the chancel candles, receiving the offering from the ushers and assisting with communion distribution. COMMUNION ASSISTANTS ... assist the Pastors with the distribution of the elements at both Sunday services.
USHERS ... extend a gracious hand of hospitality to the worshippers by assisting in the distribution of bulletins, seating worshippers, gathering the offering and directing the congregation as they celebrate the sacraments. GREETERS ... provide a warm welcome to the worshippers and assist the worshippers in any way. READERS ... read the lessons of the day and the prayers of the people.
	SOUND SYSTEM...The Sanctuary is equipped with a sound system and personal hearing devices are available to enhance worship for the hearing impaired. ALTAR GUILD ... cares for the paraments, the vestments, candles, flowers and prepares for the Sacraments of Holy Communion and Holy Baptism. Special care is given at the time of funerals. A Wedding Coordinator and committee assist in the arrangements of weddings.
