About Pastor
Pastor Hukki was raised in East Machias, Washington County, Maine and belonged to Holy Name Parish in Machias. In high school she lived for a time on the Navajo reservation in Arizona; graduated from the University of Dallas with a BA in Theology, and worked in several states and parishes with Christian Education and Youth Ministry. She became a Lutheran in Pakersburg WV and after some time working with the Girl Scouts of the USA and with a Presbyterian Church, she entered seminary in January of 1998. She graduated from Bangor Theological Seminary with an MDiv and from the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia with an STM. She was ordained in October 2004. She served the congregations of the Sheyenne-Oberon Area Ministry in North Dakota as an intern; and then the congregations of Immanuel and Milnor in North Dakota before coming to St. Andrew September 1, 2006. She and her cat 'Dakota' are very happy to be living in Maine.
Pastor Hukki is very excited and grateful to be part of the mission and ministry of St. Andrew.
