These events offer an opportunity for the members of the congregation to become better acquainted with fellow Christians and to develop lasting friendships. By interacting together, individuals become comfortable with one another and develop a sense of belonging in the church family.
Activities that the Fellowship Committee sponsors include:Social Hour: Held every fifth Sunday of the month between services. Chili Cook-Off/Dessert Contest: Held in January, the men participate in a chili cook-off and the women participate in a dessert contest. Fastnacht's Potluck: Held in February-March (the last day before Lent begins) for the entire congregation. Click here to read more about Fastnacht Potlucks: Held before every Lenten service. Annual Picnic: Held every June at a local park. Women's Advent Dinner: The men of the congregation cook and serve dinner to the women. Other miscellaneous activities are held throughout the year.
