Computer Lab
Faith Lutheran Church has a small computer center located in our Fellowship Hall with a high speed internet connection. The two computers in our lab were given names from the Bible, Cain and Abel. These computers are available for all ages. Because of this, it is important for Faith Lutheran Church to provide a safe computing environment. This page has information about using the computers, and internet in the Faith Lutheran Church Computer Lab.

Respect the computers,
hardware and software.

Respect others; share, and take
turns using the computers.

Keep food, drinks, and liquids
away from the computers.

Keep audio speakers at a
respectable listening level.

Adult supervision is recommended.

Do not place magnets
near the computers.

Do not install or uninstall
any software programs.

Do not change any
computer settings.

Time to Log off Yet?
In recognition of other church activities, these computers are not allowed to be in use during these posted times.
When it’s time to log off, save your work, close all programs, and shutdown the computers.
Should these guidelines be violated, the computers will force users off.

Faith Lutheran Church Online Security

The Faith Lutheran Church Computer Lab uses website filtering technology to protect users when accessing the church’s high speed Internet connection. This technology has been configured to block access to websites that have been found to be inappropriate for younger audiences and this church environment.
While this online security technology is effective at blocking access to inappropriate websites, it cannot replace adult supervision and common sense. Younger audiences should be supervised by an adult and receive instruction on how to use the Internet safely. Disney has some useful information on their website.
