The Alumni Association of the Lutheran School of Nursing in St. Louis invites all graduates & their guests to attend the annual Luncheon/Business Meeting held each Spring and the annual Alumni Reunion/Celebration held the first Saturday in August; also, a Christmas Tea is held the first Saturday in December. The Alumni Association (original spelling: The Alumnae Association) was founded in 1905 by early graduates.

Past names of the school were: the Lutheran Medical Center School of Nursing; the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing; and, originally, the Lutheran Hospital Training School for Nurses. The school of nursing was founded by Louise Krauss-Ament in 1898; Lutheran Hospital was founded in 1858.
