St. Paul Lutheran Church, Franklin, OH
Worship
All members of St. Paul participate in making sure we have a meaniful worship experience each Sunday.

Most members of St. Paul actively participate individualy or in groups to enhance our worship experience including: Altar Guild, Acolyte, Bell Choir, Adult Choir, Greeter, Prayer Chain, Sacrament, Assisting Minister and of course the Worship service itself.

Our Sunday worship service begins at 10:30 A.M.
Communion is celebrated on the first and third Sunday of each month and also on festival days.

Greeter

All people who enter our doors are welcomed with a warm smile each Sunday by the Greeter of the day.
Choir
St. Paul has an amazingly good choir, for the size of our congregation. The choir sings every Sunday during the school year, and take the summer off. The choir does one anthem a month. Every church year the choir does a cantata, alternating Christmas and Easter. Thus, each falls in even numbered years.

The choir always welcomes new members--come and join us.

Altar Guild

Altar Guild members at work.
The Altar Guild makes sure that the chancel area of the church is kept nice and in good order, both to glorify God and to provide a setting that helps enable the congregation to worship in a meaningful way.

The Altar Guild duties include: preparing and caring for the altar linens, paraments, Eucharistic vessels, candles, sanctuary lamp, communion elements, altar flowers, banners, baptismal font, etc.

Acolytes

Many of our youth serve as acolytes during the year.
Prayer Chain
The prayer chain is all about helping members of St. Paul, their family and friends, the community, and anyone that has the need for prayer anyway.

When the name of a person is received for prayer, their name is passed along to prayer chain members and an acknowledgement is sent to that person that St. Paul members prayed for them.

We receive many thank you notes tanking us for the prayers that have been offered for persons put on the prayer chain and how much is ment to and helped them.

The prayer chain is an important ministry at St. Paul.

Praying for those in need.
