Greetings in the name of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Welcome to West Blue Mounds Lutheran Church. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Our congregation meets at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings for worship and we offer Holy Communion each week during the service.
Our congregation has been a center of worship for over one hundred and twenty five years. As a congregation we are, like the ELCA, "Marked with the cross of Christ forever, we are claimed, gathered, and sent forth for the sake of the world."
Our congregation is located in the rolling hills surounded by the blue mounds to the west and beautiful countryside all around us. If you come to our area to camp there are two great campgrounds to choose from, the Blue Mounds State Park and Brigham County Park. Each has its own wonderful views. If you are in our area on a Sunday morning we would welcome you to worship with us. We are located in the center of town. We are on the corner of Division & Church streets.
Beginning in September thru May we have Sunday School for all ages following worship; this includes children & adults. The children meet downstairs and the adults meet upstairs for coffee and bible study. Come join us!
Blessings,
Pastor Kobs

Begun in the fall of 2002, our mission focus is supporting youth in the Church, Community and abroad while creating and working with Outreach programs to help those in need locally and abroad. Each year on Wednesday evenings from November until the end of the month, in which Easter falls, we put on Soup Suppers. These usually include two kinds of soup, homemade bread, along with a variety of salads and desserts. We have a basket in which people can place a free will offering, but it is not required. It is from this money that we carry out our mission focus work. |
