You have to set up a login in order to read or post anything on the message board. The website will prompt you to do so when you click on the link to the message board or if you click on the "participate" button above. You DO NOT have to fill in Thrivent account information or your SSN in the login set up process. You don't even have to be a Thrivent member. Just check the box for Lutherans Online (I believe that's the verbiage) toward the bottom of the list in the setup box. There will be a few security questions as well. Once you've completed the login setup, you can read and post on the message board.
