When I was a kid my goal was to grow up and get a job where I could make enough money so that I could travel. Now that I've grown up, the problem is finding the time to get away from work! I have to admit that I daydream about retiring and being able to go on those trips that are 26 or 38 days long! |

local color | These are a a few of my shots from my latest trip - to Guatemala, in February 2007. This was a special trip, because I went with my Aunt and Uncle, who I have never traveled with. It was a short little trip, just 5 days, but we saw a lot and I feel we really got a true flavor of the country. We flew into Guatemala City, stayed in Antigua and took a day trip to a small village where my Aunt & Uncle have been involved with community improvements through a group called Behrhorst Partners. We also were able to see the amazing Lake Atitlan and take a boat ride across to another little village. |
