As your district
president, I am pleased and privileged to invite you to attend the 24th
Biennial Convention of the LWML Ohio District at the Sheraton Suites
Akron-Cuyahoga Falls in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio on June 22-24, 2012. The women of
the Akron-Youngstown Zone are working hard to make this convention a great one!
One of the first things to
do is to complete the forms that are in this issue of the ODE. Review
them carefully and fill them out completely. Be sure to check your correct
Registration Type at the top of the form, and don’t forget to indicate your LWML
zone on the appropriate line, as the registrar will be organizing registrations
by zone. Convention registration opens on February 15, 2012.
Send your Registration,
Enrichment Session, and Emergency Notification forms to Jeanie Dinehart,
Registrar. Send your Housing Request Form to Deb Kneram, Housing chairman. And
don’t forget to include your payments! You can pay by check or money order, as
always.
Important deadlines:
If you are privileged to be a delegate or alternate, your registration deadline
is March 31, 2012. For everyone else, the registration deadline is May 15,
2012. There will be no refunds after June 7, 2012. Your president will send
information to delegates and alternates prior to the convention.
Our Enrichment Sessions
and Convention Speakers form offers a variety of choices for you on Saturday
afternoon. It also spotlights our wonderful convention speakers and
entertainers. We are planning another outstanding convention for you, so be
sure to make your arrangements to attend! The time is NOW, and the clock is
ticking!
