Welcome to Gloria Dei Lutheran!
We are the Lutheran Church,- Missouri Synod congregation serving Northwest Spokane, including the Five Mile and Nine Mile/ Long Lake
area. For over fifty years, Gloria Dei has been a vital part of the community, proclaiming the Gospel of Christ for the forgiveness of sins. We recognize the
Holy Scriptures, both Law and Gospel, as the inerrant and infallible Word of God.
As always, the Church is found gathered around Word and Sacrament. In joyful response to these, the congregation has provided several
ministries. Our most recent ministry is the Parish Nurse program, providing medical information and referral services
Additionally, Gloria Dei provides Christian Education and Sunday School for all ages., including students with special needs. We support the preschool
located on our premises.
We offer two women’s groups, the Edna Circle and the LWML (Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. Our men gather monthly for a Bible
Study over breakfast. We are also supportive of Scouting, and have renewed our Youth Group to reach out to both junior and senior high students. We
gather donations for the local food bank, Caritas.
We are excited about our commitment to offer Joint Ministry and Fellowship Opportunities with St. John’s Lutheran, located on the South
side of Spokane. This includes Choir and Confirmation, as well as worship during the seasons of Advent and Lent.
There is a place for you at Gloria Dei. Join us for worship each Sunday at 10:30 AM.
