This summer bring your kids to SonQuest Rainforest VBS… an experience of discovery they will never forget. Best of all SunQuest Rainforest will take you kids beyond what they can explore with their senses to discover a living spiritual relationship with Jesus the Son of God: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not parish but have eternal life.” John 3:16. We’ll visit Parable Falls for bible stories, head to the Jumping Jungle for bible games and sing in the Rockin’ Rainforest. Your kids will also be stopping by Toucan’s Tree-mendous Crafts and the Canopy Café for snacks daily. SonQuest Rainforest is located in the country between DeWitt and Clatonia at 10126 SW 72nd Road. This Quest starts on Monday, June 7th at 9:00am and will close everyday at 2:30. On Sunday the 13th we’ll end the week with a Rockin’ Rainforest Assembly starting at 10:30am. Immediately following the assembly we invite you to stay for a potluck luncheon and maybe a visit back to the Jumping Jungle.
Bring a sack lunch Monday through Thursday and a reusable cup with your child’s name on it. (4 year olds do NOT need a cup, teacher is providing.) Morning snacks will be available. Friday, Farmland Foods will be providing the hotdogs for our picnic. There is no need to bring any food items! The menu includes (but not limited to) Hot Dogs, chips, and ice cream.
Again this year we will be having ‘special days.’

Tuesday: Wear any VBS Tee shirt day
Wednesday: Funny hair day
Thursday: Clash Day
Friday: Bring your favorite rainforest stuffed animal day
A missions emphasis is included in our VBS program. Our goal is to help children discover the importance of missions and to understand that we can all be involved by praying for and supporting special projects. We will again be collecting aluminum cans which will not only be raising money for Haiti Relief but will also helping our own environment. A trailer will be available to place your sacks of cans in during the week. Lets work together to share the message of God’s love! We realize that not everyone can afford to send their kids to camp. We don’t believe that funding should prevent a child from attending. Please contact Pastor if funding is a concern.
