CHRISTMAS TREE DISPLAY
Thank You to everyone who made the lovely angel ornaments for the tree at the Visitors Center! (near Kennedy Ave 80/94 exchange) Be sure to stop by and see the display of trees this season.
SALVATION ARMY ANGEL TREE TAGS
Angel tree tags will be available in our narthex beginning Nov. 7th. This program is sponsored by the Salvation Army in Munster. Please bring your unwrapped gifts to church by December 6th. Volunteers are needed to help with these gifts at the Salvation Army. See Nancy Talabay for further information if interested.
HUNGER APPEAL COIN BOXES
Throughout November we will be collecting the contents of the coin banks (and accepting donations, too!) for the ELCA Hunger Appeal. There will be a marked container in the narthex as well as additional coin boxes, if needed.
PACK A SACK
Watch for the grocery sacks to be filled for the annual “Pack a Sack” food drive. A list of suggested items will be included but feel free to deviate from the list. These groceries will be given to the Highland and the Griffith food pantries for their holiday distributions. Please bring in your bags through Thanksgiving
(2) Thanksgiving Eve Service Wednesday November 25 7:00 pm
What better way to start the Holiday Season than lifting up prayers of Thanksgiving to the One who gives us everything?
(3) Golden Opportunity Coupon Books
Golden Opportunity Coupon Books are now on sale. Lots of great bargains — $25.00 per book. This fund raising effort can bring in as much as $9.00 per book sold. Designation for raised funds not made at this time.
(4) Men's Breakfast Club
Next meeting December the 5th at 8:00 am. We can look forward to a delicious home cooked breakfast, great conversation and fellowship.
(5) Ladies Birthday Club
Dec. 16 11:30 am at Teibels Restaurant located at the intersection of Indianapolis Blvd and U.S. 30
(6) GRACE NOTES — HOLIDAY BAZAAR
The following items will be needed for the 2010 Holiday Bazaar:
8 oz. Jelly Jars, Pint Canning Jars, Quart Canning Jars, Plastic Frosting Containers, International Coffee Cans,
