Messiah’s Outdoor Vacation Bible School will be June 13 -17, 2011 beginning at 9:00 am and ending at 12:00 pm with lunch. The theme is “A Big Jungle Adventure: a Faith Journey with Jesus.” A “Pennies for Mission Project” is planned to help prevent malaria. The purpose will be to help develop compassion for children beyond their world, More than 500 million people get sick with malaria every year and every year one million people, mostly children in Africa die of malaria. That is one death every 30 seconds. Malaria is preventable with treatment. Just $10 will purchase a treated net that will help save children’s lives.
