BRAD is our Video Technician who can edit songs and slides "on the fly!" Many people have commented that his use of video scenes in conjunction with the music of SOS! have made an even more powerful and inspirational impact on their lives.LISA is our cheer-leading "spark-plug!" As lead soprano vocalist, her amazing voice will "blow you away!" Of course she also takes a lot of teasing from the band about not really needing a microphone for people to hear her! This lady's strong faith will amaze you also.
HOLLI is the newest member of our ministry team and she plays keyboard and is also an amazing vocal soloist and back-up singer. Until Holli joined us, the instrumentalists were all men... so she has been teased about being the "Cutest Guy in the Band!"
ERIKA is one of the five original SOS! members and has been a blessing to everyone who hears her awesome alto voice either singing lead or back-up. With her very tender heart, she also takes some teasing about not being able to say more than ten words without starting to cry!
DIANE is the quiet lady of our group... that is until you get to know her and then "look out" because this girl is a sharp-witted joker and can have you laughing in seconds! She is a vocal soloist and back-up singer... plus she plays a pretty mean tambourine!
JEFF is our Sound Technician and often gets grief about NOT listening to the band's instructions. Everyone knows that when we ask him to "turn me up in the monitor"... he just pretends to do something, but never really changes anything! Jeff also helps oversee the audio/video ministry at Grace Lutheran Church.
DENNIS is our "everything" guy! He hauls equipment, he sets up equipment, he takes down equipment, he brings water & soda for everyone, he laughs, he prays, and other than that... all he does is play bass and sing too... plus, you'll never meet a nicer guy!
HARVEY is the "old man" and founder of the group and also has the "official" title of Worship Leader... although he makes it clear that his title only means that he "takes the heat" if something goes wrong! Besides singing lead and back-up, he also plays 12 string guitar and occasionally bass too.
DAVID is "the drummer!" As such, he is not only a talented percussionist, but he is also an awesome tenor vocalist who is comfortable singing lead or back-up. We have also discovered another of this man's many gifts... the "gift of gab" which comes in handy for transition points in a praise & worship service!
JOHN is a one-man musical amazement! If it's called a musical instrument... chances are he can play it. When SOS! needs a voice to pierce the noise of this world... this young man delivers! Lead guitar, lead vocals, bass, drums... whatever... John's talents will bless you.
