The Dodge Boys
Junior is 4. Hunter is 2 1/2
Junior is doing very well. He is thriving in school. He receives double OT services and we have noticed a huge difference in him since he began OT. He loves all of his teachers. We recently had Parent Teacher Conferences. Junior will be going to preschool 2 days a week next year and early childhood the other 2 days, so he will be in school Monday through Thursday afternoons. He will still ride the bus all 4 days. Junior had a blast in Texas!
Hunter has been doing very well, also. He is certainly 2 years old--with all of the good and the bad!! Hunter has so much character. I just noticed today that Hunter looks like he may develop freckles. His speech is getting much better. He has a large vocabulary and is getting easier to understand.
On March 18, we left for Aransas Pass, Texas. We arrived about 27 hours later to 80 degree weather. After dinner, we took a ride out to Port Aransas on the ferry. The boys got out of the van and were enthralled. Each time we rode the ferry (which takes cars across to the island), we would hear, "Water, Hunter's side, water Junior's side!" We had many adventures, including dolphin watching, deep sea fishing, 2 days at the beach, visiting 2 refuges, USS Lexington, and much more. Hunter received his first bee sting of the season on the deep sea fishing boat. Adam won biggest fish on the deep sea boat, with his 18 1/2 inch Sheepshead. Adam by far caught the biggest variety of fish. We left Aransas Pass on Thursday, March 26th. We had hoped to make it out of Texas and through most of Oklahoma before stopping for the night. Unfortunately there were tornado warnings in Northern Texas, so we had to stop early in Sherman, TX for the night. We arrived home at 3:30 am on Saturday, March 28th. We have been very cold since. The weather was in the mid to upper 70's at night and in the 80's everyday in Texas.
