Welcome to the North Peninsula ELCA Cooperative Group Events and Master Calendar. A brief history will remind us that the four ELCA Lutheran Churches came together to initiate plans and objectives to support each other by keeping informed oa all non-conflicting events and activities at all four chruches:Our Redeemers, Holy Corss, Calvary and Peace.
HISTORY
Among other goals, the Church representatives agreed to develop a Master Calendar that could accessed by everyone on the Web. Each church would put input information, such as dates, times and description of sctivities that would not conflict with other churches regular services.
It could be regularly read, revised, and upated as new events and activities are planned. It also would encourage social as well as spritual events. The main goal is let all ELCA and other churches who may be interested, in whatever event is occurring so that congregations of the four churches can come to those events thereby increasing the number of attendees.
EXAMPLES OF USE
An example would be a fund raiser, with music, meals and other activities. Each church will be supplied with the Website address and the appropriate passwords and codes to input, revise, delete, etc...
This is a living document and can be developed , revised and corrected as requirments dictate. We are grateful to Thrivent Finacial For Lutherans for providing this service and without charge. We are also grateful and appreciative of the work Jackie thompsons of Holy Cross our Webmaster who is primarily responsible for this new service.
