| My sister Dianna and her hubby Lee arrived at my Mom's house yesterday. Lee will be driving a moving van with my Dad as his passenger. Dianna will drive her truck and my Mom will be with her. They still plan on leaving the 12th in the afternoon. I still can't believe they are finally moving back home! It is like a dream to me! I have waited and prayed for 18 years for them to come back! This is a miracle! Yes, the wild fires are all around us. It is horrible here! On some days we can hardly see the second story of one of our neighbors! Our eyes burn and itch... we are sneezing and coughing! My daughter lives about 10 minutes north of us and she had ashes coming down all around her. All I can do is pray the smoke clears VERY soon! They warn everyone who has asthma or any lung problems to stay indoors. A few days ago it was a little better, but it is smokey again today. Have a great day...... Julie Orsi July 10,2008

| WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO TOMORROW WHEN SOME OF THE NIECES AND NEPHEWS WILL GATHER HERE AT THE SHELTER HOUSE AND I KNOW WE WILL HAVE A GOOD TIME. FLOODING STILL IS GOING ON DOWN THERE. I FEEL SO BAD FOR THOSE PEOPLE. GLAD TO HEAR JUDY GOT MOVED. HOPE SHE WILL BE HAPPY THERE. WILL BE QUITE AN ADJUSTMENT FOR HER. OUR PLANS ARE TO LOAD ON THE 12TH TAKE OFF ON SUNDAY, AND HOPEFULLY IF ALL GOES WELL, WE WILL ARRIVE IN UKIAH, TUESDAY OR WEDNESDAY. JULIE IS FRANTICALLY HAVING THE MOBILE UPGRADED. SHE HERSELF WILL BE LAID UP AS NEXT MONDAY, SHE HAS FOOT SURGERY AND THE DR. WANTS HER OFF WORK 6 WEEKS, BUT AM SURE SHE WILL RETURN SOONER. JIM IS RETIRING FROM UPS TODAY, SO HE WILL BE HOME....... LOVE, EVIE AND EARNIE. JUNE 20,2008 |

What a beautiful time. When you first say those vows you wonder how many years you will enjoy together. Some couples are making it past the landmark golden anniversary. Congratulations to a delightful couple, and best wishes on your future in California. | |

| This Page Is for Family News |
When you have something important to say, the newsletter is the best place to say it. You can post pictures, have expanding items, and put in maps, web links, and more. There's something new in CPS 4.0--subpages. The link immediately above this item (News About the Family) leads you to a newsletter subpage with another story. You could use subpages the way newspapers do--separating out breaking news from lifestyle items, or you could give each of your kids a subpage of his or her own. Subpages can have subpages of their own (there is no limit). And the order and position of subpages and pages is a snap to rearrange. Also note the picture of the purple phlox at the top of the newsletter page. It isn't a news item--it's just a picture. You can insert scraps of text and incidental graphics anywhere on the page. You can use HTML in your postings if you want, but it's so simple to just type as you normally would and let CPS take care of breaking paragraphs. We've also added a way to specify justification and font size, color, and face without bothering with html--just by making quick selections from list boxes. |
