ST. STEPHEN'S LUTHERAN CHURCH 150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

We would like to thank everyone for helping us to celebrate our Special 150th Anniversary. Our church was full of people and love from the community. This was a special day that was documented with many pictures adn memories that will last forever.
ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 7TH WE HAD OUR MORNING WORSHIP SERVICE BEGINNING AT 10:00 AM WITH A "BASKET DINNER" (BASKET DINNER IS WHAT THEY CALLED A POTLUCK BACK IN THE DAY) WHICH FOLLOWED. FORMER PASTORS PARTICIPATED IN BRIEF MESSAGES DURING OUR WORSHIP SERVICE. FELLOWSHIP FOLLOWED IN THE AFTERNOON WITH FORMER PASTORS, FAMILY, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS.

ITEMS ON DISPLAY:
PICTURE, CERTIFICATES, OLD CONFIRMATION BOOKS, HYMNALS, THE "CLINKER", SEVERAL VBS QUILTS THAT WERE HAND-MADE BY BARB GUYNN. 150TH ANNIVERSARY CHURCH FAMILY QUILT THAT WAS MADE ESPECIALLY FOR THE 15OTH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION AND WAS DISPLAYED UPSTAIRS WITH SEVERAL OTHER HAND MADE QUILTS.

ITEMS FOR SALE:
150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION HISTORY BOOK -- EVERYTHING YOU EVER WANTED OR NEEDED TO KNOW WILL BE COVERED IN THIS HISTORY BOOK -- WE NEVER HAD ANYTHINKG LIKE THIS IN BOOK FORM BEFORE NOW.

150TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION COOKBOOK -- THE NAME OF THIS BOOK IS "APRON STRINGS AND MY DADDY'S POCKET" IT WILL BE FILLED WITH LOTS AND LOTS OF FAVORITE RECIPES, REMEDIES AND THINGS YOU JUST DIDN'T KNOW WE HAD.

PROCEEDS FROM THESE BOOKS WILL ALSO BENEFIT THE ACTIVITY BUILDING FUND, CEMETERY FUND, AND THE MEMORIAL GARDEN.
