Luke House |
Holy Trinity will serve at Luke house on Sunday, June 17th. Holy Trinity serves a hot meal of turkey, baked potatoes, green beans, applesauce, brownies, bread, and milk. Needed are families and individuals to roast a 20 lb. turkey, bake 10 lbs. or potatoes, or bake a pan of brownies. Also needed are families and individuals to provide 10 cans of green beans or applesauce as well as bread, butter and milk. Please sign up on the Bulletin Board to provide food for Luke House. The food needs to be delivered to the Church Kitchen by 4:30 pm on June 17th.15-20 volunteers are also needed to serve on June 17th. Please sign up on the Bulletin Board in the Narthex to help serve. All volunteer servers are to meet at the Church at 4:30pm to carpool to Luke House and we will return to the Church around 7:30pm. |

Second Harvest Mobile Food Bank |
A 2nd Harvest Mobile Food Bank will be held at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Friday afternoon, June 29th. The Food Bank provides much needed food to Marshall and Waterloo residents. The Food Bank is open and available to all people. This is offered in addition to the Marshall/Waterloo Food Pantry. The food is delivered to Holy Trinity at 2:00pm. The food is set on tables in the Fellowship Hall for distribution to area families.Registration for the Food Bank begins at 3:00 pm in the church entrance, with distribution from 3:00pm-5:30pm. All are welcome. All questions should be directed to Pastor Paul. The upcoming dates for the Food Bank are as follows: Friday, July 27th Friday, August 31st Friday, September 28th |

Marshall/Waterloo Food Pantry |

The Marshall/Waterloo Food Pantry is open each Wednesday and Saturday. The Marshall/Waterloo Food Pantry is located in the lower level at 117 E. Madison Street (Highway 19) in Waterloo. Please use the door in the alley. The Pantry is open on Wednesday afternoons from Noon - 1:00 PM, Wednesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:00 PM and Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. Any family residing in Marshall or Waterloo may receive food from the pantry once every 30 days. |

VOLUNTEER DRIVER ESCORTS NEEDED |

Are you a safe driver, willing to use your own vehicle, and can spare a few hours per week to provide an essential service to adults in your area? Call RSVP of Dan Co. The RSVP Volunteer Driver Program is designed to help adults 60 years of age and older without access to personal transportation. Volunteers respond to requests for medical and other important trips depending upon driver availability. Drivers are reimbursed 50 cents per mile, covered with personal accident, liability, and excess automobile liability insurance.
