This site provides basic disaster preparation for families to take helpful steps in doing the best job possible to be ready for a broad range of disasters from individual to communal, from natural to man-made. It also serves as a repository and resource for the West Coast Disaster Response Team which encompasses the Northwest (NOW), California, Nevada and Hawaii (CNH), and Pacific Southwest (PSW) Districts of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod as well as the the following ELCA synods: Alaska, Northwest Washington, Southwest Washington, Eastern Washington-Idaho, Oregon, Montana, Sierra Pacific, Southwest California, Pacifica, and Rocky Mountain.
