Rev. Paulson Matimbwi: is among of pastors of UKD. He was ordained in 1999. After being ordained, he served as parish pastor at Kilombero Parish Kidatu. In 2002, he was elected to serve as director of Christian Education of UKD. Early in 2005 he moved to the head office in Ifakara to serve as director of Christian Education and also to serve as Chaplain of the cathedral. Unfortunately he didn't stay long because the same year he was accepted to attend the college at Iringa Tumaini University for further studies. He is very creative man. Being at Kilombero Parish he was able to organize the parish to produce 15 hectors of sugarcane as project for the parish. The parish became sustainable and as a result, they managed to renovate and build a new church from the income received from selling sugarcane to the factory. He is married and has two children. His family lives in Mlimba where his house is located.

When she is ordained she will be the first woman pastor to be ordained in UKD. Faith is not married and she doesn’t have any plans to do so in the near future. Despite being Muslim, as her back ground, she is doing very well with her studies and growing in faith.

Rev. Eliud Payowela: is among the pastors of UKD. He was ordained in 1999. After being ordained, he served as parish pastor at Mahenge parish. In the year of 2002 he was elected to serve as District pastor of Ifakara Province. At the end of 2005 he began his studies at Iringa Tumaini University. He is not married, but is working very hard to find a spouse. While serving as District Pastor he managed to increase the number of members and income of Ifakara Parish. Despite many challenges, he managed to start a new choir called Amani Choir which is made up of the teenagers in the community. Together with the semi-professional Tumaini Choir, these choirs brought energy and new impact to the parish. Members of parish feel proud to have these choirs. Both choirs work very hard in order to fulfill their vision. In early 2008 the Tumaini choir was in Dar es Salaam recording their latest CD. Pastor Payowela is very good in organizing fund raising events. While serving the Ifakara Parish he was able to raise funds to buy land which now is the pathway to enter the church grounds. The choirs built shops to house a Christian book and stationary shop, and an internet cafe. He is a person of fact and he likes changes.
