2010 Niermeier Reunion |
The 2010 Niermeier reunion will be held at Beatrice, Nebraska and will be coordinated by the Erich Niermeier Family.
The date has been set!! June 18-19 2010
There are a lot of things to see and do at Beatrice so you may want to plan for the whole week. Check out the Beatrice home page for ideas.
We are going to start Friday morning for History Day--Pictures on computers or 22x24max tagboard. Catch up on new family members and find out about past history. Saturday is touring day to see the places where our ancestors were born, lived and died. (we will travel to Kansas to see where Anna Holste was born) Evenings will be devoted to the German tradition of music, so bring your instraments and or favorite songs and be prepared to sing or in some way take part! Beatrice has a variety of churches, so just look on the website to find the one you want to attend on Sunday morning. Then it will be travel home time, and we wish everyone a safe trip.

| Vera Niermier reports that Ruth Nicolaus(Buddy's granddaughter and Patty's daughter)stopped by for a visit
Ruth is doing Promotions for Rodeos, so when she gets close to
Stockton, she always stops in for a short visit. Ruth reports
her sisters are very busy with their own young children.Deb Niermeier (Ben's daughter) has been in contact with GRACE's
son JOHN BOUSFIELD 3rd through Facebook with his wife Twig.
Twig reported to Deb that she and John (John Boy as we know him)
were married 30 years as of 7/20/2009. John has worked for
Siemans for 20 years as an electrical engineer. They lived for
several years in Houston, they now are in a small town near
Pittsburg, PA. They have 3 children. John 4 (known as Jay) who is 29, Sarah who is 20, and Matthew who is 19. John 4 (JAY) has
a son--John 5 who is called Channing. Deb also has contacted Grace Jane and Nancy through Facebook.
Grace Jane lives in New York City and was heading to Lousiana
on her vacation to visit her dad (UNCLE JOHN) Nancy lives in Louisana. Deb has also contacted Melanie (Fred's daughter) and Dana and
Lee Lewis (Fred's step sons) through Facebook. Deb has also
contacted Sharon (Eric's daughter) on Facebook. |

Other news:Nan(cy) Bousfield had gallbladder surgery last week and is almost totally recovered. Elizabeth Bousfield Mantoura is almost ready to reopen her bookstore, which was badly damaged in Hurricane Ike. Ramzi Mantoura, her son, opened his skating shop in the same building (owned by Elizabeth) last week. He has been doing all the repairs on the building. Raif Mantoura is visiting his Aunt Grace this week. We are going to Newport, Rhode Island next weekend. Grace Bousfield Agnew
