| 11/16/2009 05:35 PM | The "opening music" you're hearing plays automatically each time the home page is engaged. To hear that music again, scroll to the very bottom of the home page, and click the "player right arrow." Enjoy! |
LAST UPDATE | When opening this web site, if you do not hear music/singing, look above - to the top of the page. You most likely will see in highlighted text a question asking if you want to download or install active x, etc. These downloads are ok, and are necessary to use the embedded music players we use. Click on that area of the screen, a brief download will take place, and then you will hear the amazing sounds of SMLC! While the music is playing you can scroll up and down the page to see other pictures, etc. Enjoy! |

A few historical notes. | | |
Our congregation first gathered for services in 1989 at St. Bartholomew's Church, meeting only twice a month. On May 25, 1997, Shepherd of the Mountains Lutheran Church (SMLC) was officially recognized by the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America as a congregation of the Rocky Mountain Synod. On June 29, 2008, a Service of Dedication was held for the church building, the first for SMLC!
