Christ Lutheran Church History

Christ Lutheran Church was organized in 1969 with a group of faithful people meeting at Olympic View Elementary School. The charter for the congregation was signed on March 1, 1970. Pastor W.H. Anderson was the mission developer and served the congregation as Pastor until retirement in June of 1995.

Groundbreaking for the first unit of the church building was in 1973. The second unit was dedicated in January of 1979.

Christ Lutheran Church is a member of the Southwestern Washington Synod of the Evangelical Church of America.

Christ Lutheran Church is served by Pastor Loren Leapaldt since May 1997.
