Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly,
and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.
Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give,
not reluctantly or under compulsion,
for God loves a cheerful giver.
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times,
having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.
(2 Corinthians 9:6-8)
Walking with God, Sharing His Grace
Theme for our 2009 stewardship campaign
"Message from Loren Leapaldt, Pastor."
..."Walking with God, Sharing His Grace" is the theme chosen for our 2009 stewardship campaign. We acknowledge that stewardship is not just filling out a pledge card committing ourselves to our mission needs. Rather it is an acknowledgment that all that we have comes from God. It also attests to the fact that stewardship is a dynamic, daily experience we need to individually and as a congregation intentionally commit to in our journey as "Disciples of Christ to love and serve the Lord."
...Remember that without committed members willing to give of themselves and their possessions, the church could not offer such a rich community in which to worship nor extend that giving spirit into the community, especially to those much less fortunate.
We thank you for your prayerful and generous giving to Christ Lutheran Church, clear testimony to your faith in God our savior and a symbol of thanksgiving for his many blessings
Time and Talent Commitment
Christ Lutheran Church is a truly blessed community of Faith of faithful stewards committed to serving that community of faith and beyond. Stewardship flows from our calling to be "Disciples of Christ sent to love and serve the Lord." God gives it all...then calls us to share.
You are asked to share - to give generously of yourself/yourselves - by volunteering to serve some of the many needs of our faith community either on our established constitutional committees or as part of Servant Groups dedicated to helping ourselves and others.
Stewardship Commitment
God gives it all...then calls us to share. We need to renew a sense of gratitude and generosity through our financial contributions to our church.
May God richly bless you as you consider your gifts.
