Trinity Lutheran Church is a Congregation of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, a Protestant denomination which has its roots in the Protestant Reformation led by Martin Luther. Trinity has a wide variety of programs and missions to bring the news of the love of Jesus Christ to the people of the world. If you would like to visit us for a worship service, or if you would like to become involved in one of our many bible studies, youth programs, preschool, or any other part of our church, please feel free to visit with one of our staff members.
We welcome you to our church internet site. We are honored to have you visit us this day. Our prayer is that God would touch your life this day and affirm to you His love in Jesus Christ.
If you have any needs and would like to talk or visit with one of our staff, please feel free to contact any of us. We welcome the opportunity to share the life changing message of Jesus Christ with you.
TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH began its ministry in 1888, meeting in homes to hold services. On September 22, 1912, the Congregation was formed and the first services were held in German, in the First Baptist Church facility. Soon the people decided to build a church. This building was built at 325 N. 5th Street, in Sterling, CO. A school was opened in 1913, closing temporarily during World War II, then reopening after the war. The school was closed in 1963.
On August 28, 1960, we dedicated our present facilities as our base of operations for ministry and mission. Over the past several years, we have continued to grow: in our service to the community, in the variety of programs that nurture and strengthen our own people, and in numbers.
Today we have expanded our facilities and our ministry to include a Preschool, Daycare and Childcare Center.
We are praying that everyone in our family "CATCH THE VISION" for the ministry and mission of God's Kingdom.
We at Trinity are a Bible-believing and teaching family. We are not just a church, but a ministry and outreach center. Our Vision is to be faithful to God's Vision and extend His Kingdom here.
