International Night

A night to share International Foods, ...
The highlight of the Lancaster County CIH program is International Night! This night is enjoyed by students and host familes alike.

Each student is asked to prepare a favorite food from their home country to share with other students, host families and church members.

Host families always bring their favorite foods, which might be anything from Italian lasgna to German sauerkraut!

It's an International Feast!!


Talents, and ...
After dinner, students individually or as a group share something of their country or a talent. In the past, we have been treated to traditional dances, origami demonstrations, games, songs, music and the list goes on. Sharing can be done as an individual or with other students from the same country, and they may or may not involve audience participation.

Sharing of cultures and talents is what makes International Night so much fun!!

Please remember to bring along any traditional clothing or other items (for example, musical instruments) that you want to share this evening.
