When important things happen in your life, you should tell the world!
I am in charge of the Easter Bake Sale in the apartment building I live in. It is an experience to try to organize it all. First huge job I've had in many, many years!
I also am in charge of the spring gardening around the building this year. I love to garden, so I don't think I'll find it a chore (smile).
I am on my apartment buildings pet committy. I know of one new dog named, Charles, that is moving in soon.
It is interesting being on the Park Towers Tenant Council. I look forward to being on it for quite a while to come.
I am very involved with Peace Lutheran Church. I go to the Adult Education Class (adult sunday school) and church services every Sunday morning. I love the sermons by Pastor Bode!
I also go to the Prince of Peace bible study class on Tuesday mornings.
I enjoy having fellowship at the lunch/bible study class in the Peace Center on Wednesdays. And, right now I also go to the Lenten dinner and service, also on Wednesday evenings.
I have been wanting to join the Dorcas Club (LWMS) that meets at Peace Lutheran, but I have missed a few of the meetings.
I have been called to start volunteering at Peace in June of this year. I will be setting up the churches new library, answering the church phone, and doing new member ministry.
This will prove to be a busy and exciting year! |

Sometimes the single Lutheran feels alone in the world. So much emphisis is made on being married and having a partner in life, that it can be discuraging to not have one. Why is that? | Maybe we just dont feel whole unless we have someone else to share our world and lives with. Someone who shares our beleifs. Someone who wants the same things out of life that we want... |

But, where does that leave those who choose to stay single? What does the bible and God say about those of us who do not have families? | 
What about those of us who want a mate to spend the rest of our lives with, but can not seem to find one? | I belive the churches should have diferant ways for singles to mingle and meet. |
Singles need to be encouraged to do as they want with thier love lives and know that God loves them no matter what. |
