Confirmation Instruction at Salem Lutheran Church begins in the fall of the 8th grade year and continues through October of the 10th grade year. Confirmation is held on Reformation Day (the last Sunday of October)

One of the first two years of instruction is built upon studying the Bible stories of our faith.

The other year is spent studying Luther’s Small Catechism

We generally hold one confirmation retreat each year which all students are expected to participate.

During the two months of instruction during the students 10th grade year the pastor leads an over view of the first two years but offers a more advanced level of interpretation.
