Mark’s March Family Madness – getting a little cabin fever but the cabin is not ready to opened up yet? Come to our “almost spring but not yet” party.
Salem Ice Cream Social – enjoy the atmosphere of a true “old fashioned ice cream social. The Montevideo Community Band plays your favorite selections while you sit outside with friends from the community. A meal and ice cream are served.
Pie Social – servanthood to those unable to serve. Join us baking pies and serving the residents of local care facilities.
Salem celebrates its history with annual worship services in its earliest church building now located in Old Chippewa Village. Enjoy a bit of nostalgia.
Santa Lucia Festival of Lights – join us as we celebrate our founders Swedish heritage in the unique early morning setting of the centuries old Swedish tradition of Santa Lucia. Come hear the story of the young maiden Saint Lucia and allow it to invite you into the warmth of the coming light of Christmas.
