Kitchen Improvement Committee Progress Updates.Since August, the kitchen committee has had several meetings to discuss what our needs are at Salem and how to best remodel our kitchen. Our suggestions and the suggestions of others were considered when drawing up a floor plan for the new kitchen, which has been revised a few times and is now in the hands of the architect. As the plans are finalized, we will begin the process of looking at appliances, cabinets, lighting, and flooring.
The architect feels we have a sound building, but we may need to do some electrical improvements.
The committee is hoping that the process will begin to move more quickly as we are anxious to show the congregation our final drawings.
