The Small Church Still has a Voice |
THE SMALL CHURCH CONFERENCE Theme this year is "The Still Small Voice." Our guest speaker is Dr. John T. Pless, Professor at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana. The June 16-18 Conference will focus on the challenges and joys of congregations with less than 100 in worship on Sunday. Besides our main speaker's presentation we will offer some papers (by our participants)on various issues of ministry and how the changes in Synod may or may not change the face of ministry in a smaller parish. An effort has been made to make the conference as inexpensive as possible by providing some local housing and scheduling it to be held in the Denver Metro area just before the RMD Convention.
