The Bible: we believe that the Holy Scriptures of the
Old & New Testaments, in their entirety & in all their
parts, are the inspired Word of God, revelant in their
context today just as they have always been.
We believe the Bible to be the revelation of God,
unalterable, inerrant, infallible, & complete as the only
norm and source of all Christian doctrine & teaching.God: we believe in one God: the Father, Son, and Holy
Spirit: Creator, Redeemer, Sanctifier: Lord of heaven
and earth who commissions us to go, teach, and baptize, discipling all nations. (Matthew 28:19)
Man: we believe that man is not the product of
evolutionary development, but was intentionally created
by God with body and soul, with intellect, reason, and
free will. But man fell into sin and thus separated
himself from God, commiting himself to God's wrath.
(Romans 6:23)
Grace: we believe that God, out of pure mercy and
undeserving love rescued mankind from sin, death,
and Satan through Jesus Christ, His only Son, our
Lord. Jesus willingly entered death for us, substituted
Himself for us, and paid the penalty for our sins
under the Law. "By His wounds we are healed." "Christ
died for all." "We are clothed with His righteousness."
And because He lives, we too have the hope and certainty
of eternal life. (John 3:16)
Faith: we believe and confess Jesus Christ, the One
and only Savior. The Holy Spirit called "me" by the
Gospel, enlightened me with His gifts, offers all the
blessings of Christ to me and created faith in me to
believe. (Romans 10:17; Ephesians 2:8-9)
Sacraments: we believe that the Word and Sacraments
are God's Means of Grace for the procurement of
forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life
and salvation. Scripture commands two sacraments:
Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
Because Scripture is clear, we baptise infants and
adults; at the Lord's Table we receive the Real
Presence -Christ's true body and blood in, with, and
under the bread and wine for us Christians to eat
and to drink, instituted by Christ Himself.
(Matthew 26:26-29; Mark 14:22-25;
Luke 22:14-20; I Corinthians 11:23-25)
Second Coming of Christ: we beleive that Christ will
visibly return to the earth on the Last Day to judge
the living and the dead. He will receive into glory
all who believe and trust in Him as their one and
only Savior. (Mark 16:16; John 3:16-17)
"(God) wants all people to be saved and to come to a
knowledge of the truth." I Timothy 2:4
