HISTORY
> Began as a mission church around 1884 with the advent of the railroad.
> Ladies Aid was organized in 1888; first met in homes then at the school house.
> Congregation was organized on February 12, 1889 in a small school house with 31 members.
> First church choir was organized in 1890 and Sunday School was organized in the late 1890's.
> Current church building was completed the fall of 1900 and formally dedicated on June 2, 1903.
> Young People's Society, later known as Luther League, held its first meeting on January 26, 1913.
> Christine congregation was first aligned with Richland and Abercrombie churches, later with Richland and Colfax churches.
> Women were given the right to vote at congregational meetings in 1925.
