| CONGREGATIONAL MEETING & LIFT AT SARON On Sunday, April 14th at a special congregational meeting following worship, the voting members passed a motion to install a wheelchair lift which will provide access to three levels of the church building for people with mobility needs. The cost of the lift equipment is approximately $25,000. The cost of installation and associated costs is approximately $10-15,000. The voting members present pledged $28,750 to pay for the lift and installation costs. By having 80% of the cost of the lift equipment, $20,000, we are able to receive a 2% discount on the cost of the equipment. With pledged funds already provided and available funds we were able to make that payment. Receiving pledged donations and additional donations directed to this project will reduce the amount of money we need to borrow in order to complete the accessibility project. If you have not made a pledge or donation and would like to do so, please contact our treasurer, Paul Sachariason. He will apply the donation to the project. The contractor who will make the building modifications to accommodate the lift within the church and the contractor who will install the lift have both been contacted and work will begin the second week of June. Thank you for supporting this project!
